Striking lightning strikes Tehran

Striking lightning has hit Tehran on Saturday night.

Some amazing photos, showing last night’s lightning strikes in windy Tehran, by Iranian photographer Majid Behzad have gone viral. Tehran's Milad Tower is visible in the photos

“Seize bolts of lightning from the sky and plant them in fields of life. They will grow like tender sprouts of fire, charge somber thoughts with unexpected flash, you, my lightning in the soil!” wrote Albanian author Visar Zhiti.

“Lightning strikes, you fear; rainbow appears, you are amazed; the sun rises, you relax; flood comes, you run away! Nature is like an amazing actor that exists to give you all kinds of emotions!” wrote Turkish writer Mehmet Murat ildan.
